My Why
I created this space because I’m deeply intrigued by the concept of perspective. My “aha” moment came after spending a lot of time observing people and their conversations. I noticed how often people would argue or miscommunicate, sometimes even saying the same thing but getting frustrated with each other for no apparent reason. On the other hand, I saw individuals who, despite facing significant challenges, managed to thrive when others might have given up. Ultimately, I believe it all comes down to perspective.
Starting at The Transformation Network
I began working at The Transformation Network in 2011 as an audio intern, not knowing much about it other than that it was a radio network focused on “positive talk,” run by Dr. Pat Baccili, who also hosted her own show. My main responsibility was editing all the talk shows from the day while also monitoring the live stream to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Falling in Love with the Content
It didn’t take long for me to fall in LOVE with the content. Topics like self-care, growth mindset, personal transformation, spirituality, and overall well-being had always piqued my interest, but this job took that interest to a whole new level. I found myself daydreaming about working there full-time and what that life could look like (not realizing at the time that I was manifesting it). I saw the network and Dr. Pat as this incredible space to contribute to something creative and positive.
Diving into Learning and Personal Growth
I dove in head-first to learn everything I could. At the same time, I was constantly absorbing the teachings from our hosts about “life” and transformation. I didn’t realize at the time that this would lead me down a very interesting personal growth and transformation journey. The way I looked at the world began to change—subtly. I’m talking like six years into this before I had the conscious realization that I was shifting.
Embracing the Journey and Sharing My Perspective
Now that I’m consciously aware of this journey I’m on and actively continuing to expand my mind, I am finally ready to step out more visibly to share my own perspective—AND be very transparent—because I still have NO idea what I’m doing half of the time. That’s why I want to have conversations with others about their perspectives so we can all learn and grow together.
